Scope and information collected
The main site has no contact form. If you email the site, the message and address you provide are handled through your email provider. The main site and games may automatically receive technical and usage information from hosting, analytics, advertising, and game-data providers, such as browser or device information, pages and game actions, approximate location inferred from IP address, and pseudonymous device or session identifiers.
Local storage, analytics, game data, and advertising
The games use browser storage for saved state, streaks, preferences, and pseudonymous session or client identifiers. Analytics may be used to understand site and game use. Game services may receive puzzle, result, or score submissions described by the game interface. The main site includes the Google AdSense script on substantive pages; Google and authorized advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies when advertising is enabled. These technologies are not described as anonymous because device-level or pseudonymous identifiers may be involved.
Choices and third parties
Google provides ad settings and My Ad Center. Provider policies, browser controls, and applicable consent choices govern available opt-outs. Google requires publishers serving personalized ads in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland to use a Google-certified consent management platform integrated with the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework. Hindsight Games may use Google Privacy & Messaging or another certified provider; the active account-side configuration must be checked separately.
Retention, children, and changes
Hindsight Games does not promise a single retention period for provider-collected data; provider settings and legal obligations may affect it. The site is not directed to children.
